Reference Video

This is a reference video that was recorded in class. This video will help me a lot, especially looking at the way I was pulling the printer and my facial expressions during the struggle.
So far this video has been a good guide for my project.

Fred

This is Fred. My different views of Fred and his pulling and struggling emotions.
I want people to think Fred is addorable. My drawling skills aren't the best, but I really like what I have done with Fred.

Rotoscope

For this project I based my rotoscope off of the opening of Resident Evil Retribution:

I did not copy exactly what this clip was. Coming into the project I knew that I wanted her hands to be really messed up and going all sorts of ways throughout the project to show that she was wounded in battle and her hands are healing as she floats higher in the water. I also knew I wanted it to be really jumpy because I wanted to show that it was in water and everything is jumpy in water. I also wanted to over exaggerate the water effects because I keep hearing that we are suppose to over exaggerate in animation.
I had MANY complications with this project. The video hardly ever worked. I think it worked one or two days, so for the rest of the days I had to draw off memory or looking at the video, so everything is not exactly great. The downloaded free trial of photoshop never worked right. I also spent a whole lot of hours and days on this project to make it what it is now.
I did add my own water marks because I wanted to show she was in water in a different way than what was represented in the actual movie. Originally in my rotoscope had drew in her guns that were on the sides of her and then I decided to take it out and draw a line to connect to her body because I didn't want it to be known that she is a huge fighter.
Colors: I used blue to the water to symbolise water. I used black for the outline to make her bold. I used red for the clothes to symbolise anger, frustration, and revenge.
